13 For I bear him witness that he has a great1 zeal for you, and those who are in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.  
14 aLuke the beloved physician and bDemas greet you.  
15 Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas and athe church that is in his house.

16 Now when athis epistle is read among you, see that it is read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.  
17 And say to aArchippus, “Take heed to bthe ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”  
18 aThis salutation by my own hand—Paul. bRemember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen.

Colossians 4:15

Nymphas (Numfan). That is masculine, if autou (his) is genuine (D E K L) after kat oikon, but Numfa (feminine) if authv (her) is read (B 67). Aleph A C P read autwn (their), perhaps including adelfouv (brethren) and so locating this church (ekklhsia) in Laodicea. It was not till the third century that separate buildings were used for church worship. See Romans 16:5 for Prisca and Aquila. It is not possible to tell whether it is "her" or "his" house here.
