1 Thessalonians 3:10

Exceedingly (uperekperissou). Double compound adverb, only in I Thessalonians 3:10; I Thessalonians 5:13 (some MSS. -wv). Like piling Ossa on Pelion, perisswv, abundantly, ek perissou, out of bounds, uperekperissou, more than out of bounds (overflowing all bounds).

And perfect (kai katartisai). First aorist active articular infinitive of purpose (eiv to idein—kai) of katartizw, to mend nets (Matthew 4:21) or men (Galatians 6:1) repair. Chiefly late.

That which is lacking in (ta usterhmata). The shortcomings, the lacks or left-overs (Colossians 1:24). From usterew (usteron), to be late.
