American Standard Version
that ye may walk becomingly toward them that are without, and may have need of nothing.

Amplified® Bible
So that you may bear yourselves becomingly {and} be correct {and} honorable {and} command the respect of the outside world, being dependent on nobody [self-supporting] {and} having need of nothing.

Contemporary English Version
Then you will be respected by people who are not followers of the Lord, and you won't have to depend on anyone.

that ye may walk reputably towards those without, and may have need of no one.
