1 Thessalonians 5:11

9 For aGod did not appoint us to wrath, bbut to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,  
10 awho died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.  
11 Therefore1 comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

13 and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. aBe at peace among yourselves.  
14 Now we1 exhort you, brethren, awarn those who are unruly, bcomfort the fainthearted, cuphold the weak, dbe patient with all.  
15 aSee that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always bpursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.  
16 aRejoice always,

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Wherefore comfort yourselves - notes, I Thessalonians 4:18.

And edify one another - Strive to build up each other, or to establish each other in the faith by these truths; notes, Romans 14:19.

Even as also ye do - Continue to do it. Let nothing intervene to disturb the harmony and consolation which you have been accustomed to derive from these high and holy doctrines.
