Being beguiled (ecapathqeisa). First aorist passive participle of ecapatew, old compound verb, in N.T. only by Paul (II Thessalonians 2:3; I Corinthians 3:18; II Corinthians 11:3; Romans 7:11; Romans 16:18; I Timothy 2:14). Not certain that ec- here means "completely deceived" in contrast to simplex (ouk hpathqh) used of Adam, though possible.
Hath fallen (gegonen). Second perfect indicative active, permanent state. See I Corinthians 11:7.
