Timothy 2:18
Saying the resurrection is already past - Perhaps asserting that it is only the spiritual passing from death unto life.
But shun profane and1 idle babblings, for they will2 increase to more ungodliness.
And their message will spread like cancer. aHymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,
who have strayed concerning the truth, asaying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.
Nevertheless athe solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord bknows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of1 Christ depart from iniquity.”
But in a great house there are not only avessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.
