Commentaries:
Robertson's Word Pictures (NT)
Forsook me (me egkateleipen). Imperfect (MSS. also have aorist, egkatelipen) active of the old double compound verb egkataleipw, for which see Romans 9:29. Clearly in contrast to verse II Timothy 4:9 and in the sense of I Timothy 6:17, wilful desertion. Only mentioned elsewhere in Colossians 4:14.
Crescens (Krhskhv). No other mention of him.
Titus to Dalmatia (Titov eiv Dalmatian). Titus had been asked to rejoin Paul in Nicopolis where he was to winter, probably the winter previous to this one (Titus 3:12). He came and has been with Paul.
Other Robertson's Word Pictures (NT) entries containing 2 Timothy 4:10:
Acts 24:27
2 Corinthians 11:27
Colossians 4:14
2 Timothy 4:16
Titus 1:4
Titus 3:12
