Though I have (exwn). Concessive participle (present active).
That which is befitting (to anhkon). Neuter singular accusative of the articular participle (present active) of anhkw, to come up to requirements and so to be befitting. For idea in anhkw, see Colossians 3:18; Ephesians 5:4. This idiom is in later writers.
I rather beseech (mallon parakalw). Rather than command (epitassw) which he has a perfect right to do.
