American Standard Version
For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.

Amplified® Bible
For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced {and} unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]!

Contemporary English Version
People who live on milk are like babies who don't really know what is right.

For every one that partakes of milk [is] unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe;
