American Standard Version
then hath he said, Lo, I am come to do thy will. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

Amplified® Bible
He then went on to say, Behold, [here] I am, coming to do Your will. Thus He does away with {and} annuls the first (former) order [as a means of expiating sin] so that He might inaugurate {and} establish the second (latter) order.

Contemporary English Version
Well, it was to do away with offerings and sacrifices and to replace them. That is what he meant by saying to God, "I have come to do what you want."

Darby English Version
then he said, Lo, I come to do thy will. He takes away the first that he may establish the second;

Good News Bible
Then he said, "Here I am, O God, to do your will." So God does away with all the old sacrifices and puts the sacrifice of Christ in their place.

International Standard Version
Then he says, "See, I have come to do your will." He takes away the first in order to establish the second.
