In your vauntings (en taiv alazoniaiv umwn). Old word for braggart talk (from alazoneuomai, to act the alazwn empty boaster Romans 1:30), common in Aristophanes, in N.T. only here and I John 2:16.
Glorying (kauxhsiv). Act of glorying, late word from kauxaomai, good if for Christ (I Thessalonians 2:19), bad if for self as here.
