Excerpted from: Jesus Christ's AscensionAgain, we see that because Jesus was seated at the right hand of God, all the angels and authorities and powers are subject to Him. This does not mean that He had no authority before, because even while He was a Man, the demons were subject to Him. But something changed with His ascension—something was accomplished that elevated the Word even higher than He was before His incarnation.
