Articles, Bible studies, and sermons that contain 1 Peter 4:14:
I Peter 4:12-15
Excerpted from: The Eternal Privileges of the BridePlease turn over to I Peter 4, verse 12. Now, Peter wrote about our blessed state in life, not that we would find personal and positive enjoyment in being criticized and slandered, but our blessed condition is because it resembles our Savior's condition. It shows that we are His friends, and it shows that we have rich spiritual influences in this present world.
We are going to read verses 12 to 19, and this section is about suffering for God's glory.
I have always found that shocking in one way that a busybody is included with a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people's matters. It is a much more serious a crime, so to speak, or sin than we really realize, is it not?
