Peter 5:9
Be the more steadfast, as ye know the same kind of afflictions are accomplished in - That is, suffered by, your brethren, till the measure allotted them is filled up.
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Be1 sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
But1 may the God of all grace, awho called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while,3 perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
aTo Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
