Robertson's Word Pictures (NT)
For if these things are yours and abound (tauta gar umin uparxonta kai pleonazonta). Present active circumstantial (conditional) participles neuter plural of uparxw and pleonazw (see I Thessalonians 3:12) with dative case umin, "these things existing for you (or in you) and abounding."
They make you to be (kaqisthsin). "Render" (present active indicative of kaqisthmi, old verb, James 3:6), singular because tauta neuter plural.
Not idle nor unfruitful (ouk argouv oude akarpouv). Accusative predicative plural with umav understood, both adjectives with alpha privative, for argov see James 2:20 and for akarpov Matthew 13:22.
Knowledge (epignwsin). "Full (additional) knowledge" as in II Peter 1:2.
