Being overshadowed (kataklusqeiv). First aorist passive participle of katakluzw, old compound, here only in N.T., but see kataklusmov in II Peter 2:5.
With water (udati). Instrumental case of udwr.
Perished (apwleto). Second aorist middle indicative of apollumi.
