Revelation 1:12

To see the voice (blepein thn fwnhn). The voice put for the person speaking.

Having turned (epistreyav). First aorist active participle of epistrefw, from which also epestreya, just before, for which verb see Acts 15:36; Acts 16:18.

Seven golden candlesticks (epta luxniav xrusav). See Matthew 5:15 for luxnia (lampstand). Symbols of the seven churches as explained in verse Revelation 1:20. See Exodus 25:35 ff. for description of a seven-branched candlestick, but here the lampstands are separate.
