Satan Thrown Out of Heaven

7 And war broke out in heaven: aMichael and his angels fought bwith the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
8 but they1 did not prevail, nor was a place found for2 them in heaven any longer.
9 So athe great dragon was cast out, bthat serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, cwho deceives the whole world; dhe was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, a“Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, bwho accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

Revelation 12:6

And the woman fled into the wilderness - The account of the woman' s flying into the wilderness immediately follows that of her child being caught up to the throne of God, to denote the great and rapid increase of heresies in the Christian Church after the time that Christianity was made the religion of the empire.

Where she hath a place prepared of God - See on Revelation 12:14 (note).
