9 Then one of athe seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came1 to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you bthe bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
10 And he carried me away ain the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me bthe great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 ahaving the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
12 Also she had a great and high wall with atwelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 athree gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.

Revelation 21:11

Having the glory of God - For her light, Revelation 21:23, Isaiah 40:1-2, Zechariah 2:5. Her window - There was only one, which ran all round the city. The light did not come in from without through this for the glory of God is within the city. But it shines out from within to a great distance, Revelation 21:23-24.
