And the priest shall take one male lamb and aoffer it as a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and bwave them as a wave offering before the Lord.
Then he shall kill the lamb ain the place where he kills the sin offering and the burnt offering, in a holy place; for bas the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering. cIt is most holy.
The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it aon the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.
Then the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall asprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before the Lord.
And of the rest of the oil in his hand, the priest shall put some on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the blood of the trespass offering.
The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed. aSo the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord.
“Then the priest shall offer athe sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed from his uncleanness. Afterward he shall kill the burnt offering.
And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. So the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be aclean.

LEVITICUS. So called from its treating of the laws relating to the ritual, the services, and sacrifices of the Jewish religion, the superintendence of which was entrusted to the Levitical priesthood. It is chiefly, however, the duties of the priests, "the sons of Aaron," which this book describes; and its claim to be the work of Moses is established by the following passages:— II Chronicles 30:16; Nehemiah 8:14; Jeremiah 7:22-23; Ezekiel 20:11Matthew 8:4; Luke 2:22; John 8:5; Romans 10:4; Romans 13:9; II Corinthians 6:16; Galatians 3:12; I Peter 1:16.
