American Standard Version
It is a sabbath of solemn rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls; it is a statute for ever.

Amplified® Bible
It is a sabbath of [solemn] rest to you, and you shall afflict yourselves [by fasting with penitence and humiliation]; it is a statute forever.

Contemporary English Version
and from now on, it must be celebrated each year. Go without eating and make this a day of complete rest just like the Sabbath.

Darby English Version
A sabbath of rest shall it be unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls: [it is] an everlasting statute.

Good News Bible
That day is to be a very holy day, one on which they fast and do no work at all. These regulations are to be observed for all time to come.
