Deuteronomy 7:10

8 but abecause the Lord loves you, and because He would keep bthe oath which He swore to your fathers, cthe Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of1 bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.  
9 “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, athe faithful God bwho keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;  
10 and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not1 be aslack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face.  
11 Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them.

12 “Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.

Deuteronomy 7:10

Them that hate him - Not only those who hate him directly and properly, (for so did few or none of the Israelites to whom he here speaks,) but those who hate him by construction and consequence; those who hate and oppose his people, and word, those who wilfully persist in the breach of God's commandments. To their face - That is, openly, and so as they shall see it, and not be able to avoid it. Slack - So as to delay it beyond the fit time or season for vengeance, yet withal he is long - suffering, and slow to anger.
