For all His ways are justice,
^cA God of truth and ^dwithout injustice;
Righteous and upright is He. ‡

6 Do you thus ^adeal with the Lord,
O foolish and unwise people?
Is He not ^byour Father, who ^cbought you?
Has He not ^dmade you and established you? ‡

7 “Remember^a the days of old,
Consider the years of many generations.
^bAsk your father, and he will show you;
Your elders, and they will tell you: ‡
