And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house rested, and leaned upon them, the one with his right hand, and the other with his left.

And Samson laid hold of the two middle pillars by which the house was borne up, one with his right hand and the other with his left.

Contemporary English Version
Samson was standing between the two middle columns that held up the roof. He felt around and found one column with his right hand, and the other with his left hand.

Darby English Version
And Samson grasped the two middle pillars upon which the house rested, and he leaned his weight upon them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other.

Good News Bible
So Samson took hold of the two middle columns holding up the building. Putting one hand on each column, he pushed against them
