Well, I think Uriah's blood cried out from the ground, as it were. And He avenged—God did—their deaths, his death upon David and his house. We could go back and read that in II Samuel 12:9-10 where God said, "Your family's going to be a mess from now on. You're going to have war within your own family." And it was because of what he had done in this particular situation. God gave him conflict within his own family. But he admits here back in Psalm 51:14, that he had done it all. He had become guilty of blood. And that God was just.
