American Standard Version
And he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, wherewith he made Israel to sin.

Amplified® Bible
He did evil in the sight of the Lord; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam [I] son of Nebat, which he made Israel sin.

He disobeyed the LORD and caused the Israelites to sin, just as Jeroboam son of Nebat had done.
