6:10 To whom shall I speak and give warning That they may hear? Behold, their ears have closed And they cannot listen Behold, the word of the LORD has become a reproach to them; They have no delight in it. |
6:11 But I have become full of the wrath of the LORD; I feel weary with holding it in " Pour it out on the children in the street And on the gathering of young men together; For they shall take both husband and wife, The aged and the very old. |

6:20 " For what purpose does frankincense come to Me from Sheba And the sweet cane from a distant land? Your burnt offerings I do not accept And your sacrifices I do not find pleasing to Me." |

6:22 Thus says the LORD, "Behold, a people comes from the north land, And a great nation will become aroused from the remote parts of the earth. |
6:23 "They seize bow and spear; They seem cruel and have no mercy; Their voice roars like the sea, And they ride on horses, Arrayed as a man for the battle Against you, O daughter of Zion!" |
6:24 We have heard the report of it; Our hands have gone limp Anguish has seized us, Pain as of a woman in childbirth. |
