The meaning of Eliam in the Bible
(From Easton's Bible Dictionary)
God's people.
The father of Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah (II Samuel 11:3). In I Chronicles 3:5 his name is Ammiel. This name also occurs as that of a Gilonite, the son of Ahithophel, and one of David's thirty warriors (II Samuel 23:34). perhaps these two were the same person.
