The meaning of Eliphelet in the Bible
(From Easton's Bible Dictionary)God his deliverance.
One of David's distinguished warriors (II Samuel 23:34); called also Eliphal in I Chronicles 11:35. One of the sons of David born at Jerusalem (I Chronicles 3:6; 14:5); called Elpalet in I Chronicles 14:5. Also another of David's sons (I Chronicles 3:8); called Eliphalet in II Samuel 5:16; I Chronicles 14:7. A descendant of king Saul through Jonathan (I Chronicles 8:39).
