The meaning of Maneh in the Bible
(From Easton's Bible Dictionary)
portion (Ezekiel 45:12), rendered "pound" (I Kings 10:17; Ezra 2:69; Nehemiah 7:71,72), a weight variously estimated, probably about 2 1/2 or 3 lbs. A maneh of gold consisted of a hundred common shekels (q.v.). (Compare I Kings 10:17, and II Chronicles 9:16).
