The meaning of Baanah in the Bible
(From International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)
ba'-a-na ba'anah, "son of oppression"):
(1) Captain in the army of Ish-bosheth (II Samuel 4:2 ff.).
(2) Father of Iteleb, one of David's mighty men (II Samuel 23:29; I Chronicles 11:30).
(3) Returned with Zerubbabel to Jerusalem; a leader and one who sealed the covenant (Ezra 2:2; Nehemiah 7:7; Nehemiah 10:27).
