The meaning of Allemeth in the Bible
(From International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)

al'-e-meth ('allemeth, "concealment"; the King James Version Alemeth, I Chronicles 6:60): Name of a town in tribe of Benjamin, near Anathoth, one of the cities given to the sons of Aaron, the same as Almon of Joshua 21:18. The the King James Version ALEMETH (which see) is based upon the Hebrew reading 'alemeth. Its site is the modern Almit, a village a short distance Northeast of Anathoth.
