The meaning of Jaaziel in the Bible

ja-a'-zi-el (ya'azi'el, "God strengthens"): In I Chronicles 15:18, a Levite, one of the musicians appointed to play upon instruments at the bringing up of the ark by David. Kittel and Curtis, following the Septuagint (Ozeiel), read "Uzziel," the name they adopt for Aziel in I Chronicles 15:20, and for Jeiel in I Chronicles 16:5.
