The meaning of Jeriah in the Bible
(From International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)je-ri'-a (yeriyahu, "founded of Yahweh"): In I Chronicles 23:19; I Chronicles 24:23 = "Jerijah" (yeriyah), I Chronicles 26:31, head of a Levitical house: called chief of the Hebronites in I Chronicles 24:23 (compare I Chronicles 24:30).
