The meaning of Joahaz in the Bible
(From International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)
jo'-a-haz (yo'-achaz, "Yahweh has grasped" = "Jehoahaz"):
(1) Father of JOAH (4) (II Chronicles 34:8).
(2) the Revised Version (British and American) and Hebrew in II Kings 14:1 for Jehoahaz, king of Israel.
