The meaning of Uncertain; Uncertainty in the Bible

un-sur'-tin,un-sur'-tin-ti: Adjective adelos, 2 Macc 7:34; I Corinthians 14:8; adverb adelos, I Corinthians 9:26; noun adelotes, I Timothy 6:17; adelos means "not clear," and so "uncertain." Also the King James Version The Wisdom of Solomon 9:14 for episphales, "unsteady," the Revised Version (British and American) "prone to fall."
