What the Bible says about
Earth as Habitation of Demons
(From Forerunner Commentary)
Luke 10:17-18
Like a great lightning bolt streaking out of the sky, this brilliant angel, shining with all of his glory—glory given to him by God—was cast to the earth. Where did he fall? He fell right where we are, to the earth, and now we have to deal with him.

Jude 1:6
"Who did not keep their proper domain" can also be translated, "who did not keep their positions of authority." It shows that God assigned them a stipulated responsibility, a set place, but they left it. The set place was on the earth. They mounted an attack against God in heaven. Defeated, they were cast down to earth, and the place that they were originally given as their domain instead becomes a prison, a place of restraint (Revelation 12:3-4,9; II Peter 2:4).

Revelation 12:9
This verse brings Jude 6 around full-circle. We know the demons left their first estate on earth and were cast right back to it—the earth. Now they are here, and they are desperately trying to hang on to it, fighting against us and deceiving everyone on earth (Revelation 12:9)—the primary characteristic, the very thing God warns us about at the beginning of the book: The Serpent is the most cunning of all creatures (Genesis 3:1).
