Psalm 22:17 The scourging He suffered was so thorough that His flesh was ripped open! One could actually see His bones! Besides that, His arms were pulled over His head so that His whole torso was lifted up and stretched. The bones would be visible, at least in outline, even if the skin had not been broken. Richard T.
