Isaiah 58:6-12
Excerpted from: Remember the Holy SabbathIn verses 6 through 12 He tells them to take away the yoke, the undue burdens that they are placing on their brethren. Brethren, they were even neglecting their own families. Stop pointing the finger and speaking wickedness. Stop fighting. Now the commentators might think that verses 13 and 14 do not belong here, but I think they should think again, because, think of it, this might actually be the root of the problem. Let us go ahead and read verses 13 and 14.
