And this `man' shall be `our' peace. When the Assyrian shall come into our land, and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

Amplified® Bible
And this [One] shall be our peace. When the Assyrian comes into our land and treads upon our soil {and} in our palaces, then will we raise against him seven shepherds and eight princes among men.

Contemporary English Version
because he will bring peace. Let Assyria attack our country and our palaces. We will counterattack, led by a number of rulers
