Excerpted from: We Will Serve the Lord!Aaron was weakened and permitted the idolatrous drunken orgy, which still to this day all of us have a hard time really understanding, but we have to remember that Aaron came out of a very pagan society. He was still learning God's way and still trying to carry it out. He was still very, very wrong, to say the least.
