18 And He said to them, a“I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.  
19 Behold, aI give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  
20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but1 rather rejoice because ayour names are written in heaven.”

What Does Luke 10:17 Mean?

Like a great lightning bolt streaking from the sky, this brilliant angel, shining with all the glory given to him by God, was cast to the earth. He fell right where we are, and now we must deal with him.
