Acts 2:12

Were perplexed (dihporounto). Imperfect middle of diaporew (dia, a privative, porov) to be wholly at a loss. Old verb, but in N.T. only in Luke and Acts. They continued amazed (ecistanto) and puzzled.

What meaneth this? (Ti qelei touto einai). Literally, what does this wish to be?
