Acts 5:30

Ye slew (diexeirisasqe). First aorist middle indicative of diaxeirizomai, old verb from dia and xeir (hand), to take in hand, manage, to lay hands on, manhandle, kill. In the N.T. only here and Acts 26:21.

Hanging him upon a tree (kremasantev epi culou). First aorist active participle of kremannumi (kremannuw seen already in Matthew 18:6 and Luke 23:39). Peter refers to Deuteronomy 21:23 as Paul does in Galatians 3:13, the curse pronounced on every one who "hangs upon a tree."
