Acts 8:39

Out of the water (ek tou udatov). Not from the edge of the water, but up out of the water as in Mark 1:10.

Caught away (hrpasen). Suddenly and miraculously, for arpazw, like the Latin rapio, means to carry off. Cf. II Corinthians 12:2; I Thessalonians 4:17.

Went on his way (eporeueto). Kept on going, imperfect active.
