Acts 16:33

Acts 16:33 Washed [their] stripes. They were all covered with bruises, blood and dust. His heart is now changed and filled with the spirit of mercy. Howson suggests that they were washed in the tank or reservoir within the prison court, supplied by the water from the roof. Here also all were baptized . . . without delay. On the baptism of his household, see PNT "Ac 16:15".
