Acts 17:32

Acts 17:32 When they heard of the resurrection of the dead. The Epicureans were materialists like the Sadducees (see PNT "Mt 3:7). They no doubt mocked at the idea of a resurrection. The Stoics probably wished to hear again of this matter. There was a division of sentiment.
