Romans 9:29 As Esaias said before. Isaiah spoke this before he wrote what is quoted in Romans 9:27. This is found in Isaiah 1:9. This passage, like the other, shows that only "a remnant of Israel shall be saved". We had been as Sodoma and . . . Gommorah. Sodom and Gomorrah had perished on account of their sins. Had it not been for God's mercy, Israel would have been blotted out for the same cause.
