For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby.

Amplified® Bible
For Moses writes that the man who [can] practice the righteousness (perfect conformity to God's will) which is based on the Law [with all its intricate demands] shall live by it.

Contemporary English Version
Moses said that a person could become acceptable to God by obeying the Law. He did this when he wrote, "If you want to live, you must do all that the Law commands."
