1 Corinthians 12:7

Manifestation (fanerwsiv). Late word, in papyri, in N.T. only here and II Corinthians 4:2, from fanerow, to make manifest (fanerov). Each instance of the whole (verse I Corinthians 12:6) is repeatedly given (didotai, present passive indicative of didwmi).

To profit withal (prov to sumferon). See on I Corinthians 6:12; I Corinthians 10:23, I Corinthians 10:33 for Paul's guiding principle in such matters.
